Last week, the Gilmer Elementary School Library participated in many exciting events as a part of Children's Book Week.  Students participated in a Book Character Parade, a "Buckeyes Love Books" bookmark design contest, and a book donation drive in which all donated books were given to the Upshur County Library.  In addition, students were invited to wear camo to show others that they will "Hide Out With a Good Book."  Even several district employees joined in the fun by dressing up as their favorite book character and visiting classrooms for a special storytime.  The pictures from the fun-filled week are below.
